Many Blacks felt that "White privilege" freed those officers on that day. They felt that there was no "Black priviledge" for them. To many the system had failed them and it could no longer be trusted. Since that time we have seen riots and protest because of the excessive use of force by police and regular civilians. In some cases the force ended in death. The question now is can Blacks get equal justice? Can we have equal rights? Can we as a black people and white people sit down and discuss these issues without killing each other? Can't we all just all get along? Recently, I came across this video that made me think that race relations in America are miles apart and that they are getting worst based on the statement by many of the participants in this video.
